October 9, 2012 - Union University has a strong relationship with the Sumner County School system and through a specifically designed Leadership Academy for aspiring and current adminstrators, leadership skills will be developed and honed to provide strong classroom and school level leadership.

The Leadership Academy will utilize Problem-Based Learning (PBL) modules as the vehilce for delivery of the content. Each module will address numerous issues related to leadership, learning environment, curriculum, assessment and instruction. A critical goal is to extend instructional leader skills to address the myriad of factors that impact the effectiveness of teaching and learning and thus, student achievement.

The Leadership Academy is scheduled for Summer/Fall 2012.
