Perhaps the better question is, "What CAN'T you do with an English degree?"  In addition to talking to your professors, you should see the folks at career services, especially Jacqueline Taylor, a former Union University English major who regularly makes presentations on the marketability of the English degree.  Also, you should consult the list of websites compiled by career services.  Simply go to  http://www.uu.edu/studentservices/careerservices/ and click on "Internet Resources" and scroll down to English.
