History Students Present
Papers at Sharon Hart and Natalie Treece, both history majors and members of Union’s Delta-Psi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, presented papers at the Kentucky 2005 Phi Alpha Theta Regional Conference held at Murray State University on April 2. Sharon’s paper was on “Zwingli: For God and Country,” while Natalie’s presentation was entitled “British Appeasement: The Right Thing to Do?” Sharon won third place out of twenty submissions in the undergraduate competition for best papers. Attending the conference with Sharon and Natalie were fellow students Elizabeth Carls and Heather Tobe, as well as Dr. Stephen Carls, Professor Keith Bates, Dr. Judy LeForge, and Dr. Terry Lindley from the department faculty.
