Mar 22, 2010
The Rutledge Honorary History Club inducted six new members into the organization at its spring meeting on March 22, 2010. Club President Elizabeth Blevins conducted the initiation ceremony and presented each initiate with a certificate of membership. Students initiated into the club were Jonathan Dissinger, Natalie Lovett, Savannah Mealer, Alan Mitchell, Logan Smith, and Felicia Taraczkozy. Dr. Terry Lindley, the group’s faculty sponsor, talked about the upcoming department awards banquet that the club sponsors each year and indicated that Art Professor Chris Nadaskay would be this year’s speaker. In other business, club member Will Miller volunteered to represent the history club as a senator on the Student Government Association in 2010-2011. Twenty-five people attended the event, and refreshments were served for everyone to enjoy.
