Phi Alpha Theta Presents Check to Union University Library

Union’s Delta-Psi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honor Society) presented a $250 check to Union’s Summar Library on February 24 as payment for the library’s purchase of several history books that th chapter and the Department of History and Political Science requested. The national office of Phi Alpha Theta sent the in recognition of the Delta-Psi Chapter’s success in winning the society’s Best Chapter Award for 2003. Attending the check presentation ceremony were: Kevin Vailes, the 2002-2003 chapter president; Spencer Lowery, the 2003-2004 chapter president; Dr. Stephen Carls, the chapter faculty advisor; and, Mr. Steve Baker, Director of the Library.
