Department Celebrates Dr. Bates' Ph.D.
Mar 3, 2006
The history and political science department had a reception on March
3, 2006, to recognize Dr. Keith Bates for his successful completion of a
doctor of philosophy degree in history at Kansas State University in
December, 2005. Dr. Bates's wife Lisa was also an honoree at the
reception. Phi Alpha Theta members Ben Burleson, Bethany Kossick, and
Natalie Treece helped at the event by serving punch, cutting cake, and
registering guests. Approximately 40 people attended the occasion.
