Rutledge Honorary History Club Sets Spring Agenda at March 14 Meeting

The Rutledge Honorary History Club at a meeting on March 14 set its agenda for the spring semester. President Mary Beth Johnson led the meeting which included working on details of the department’s annual awards banquet, which the club sponsors. It was announced that the banquet would be held on May 1 and that the department’s Dr. David Thomas would be the banquet speaker. In other actions, the club held an election for its 2008-2009 officers, with Kathleen Cooper being chosen as president, and it discussed an April field trip to the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. Finally, club members voted to donate $200 to Union’s Disaster Relief Fund.
