  • Tuesday, November 18 - Wednesday, November 19: Join us in the Language Lab to hear our seniors present their capstone presentations.  TESL and Applied Linguistics students will present on Tuesday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.  French and Spanish students will present on Wednesday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

  • Tuesday, November 11: Alum Kate Conkling presented her story and shared about her work with World Relief Memphis.  Kate graduated from Union in 2004 with a French Major and a Spanish Minor.

  • Saturday, October 4: The Jackson International Food & Art Festival is a community event that will be held in Downtown Jackson from 10:00am - 4:00pm. This will be an excellent opportunity for Union students to experience cultures from around the world and to showcase the cultures represented at Union. Contact Dr. Walls for more information.

  • Monday, September 29: The Fall Welcome Back Party will be held in the Language Lab from 10:00am - 10:50am for all Language Majors and Minors. Come mingle with faculty and fellow students and get some fabulous food! Contact Dr. Walls for more information.

  • Tuesday, September 23: We had the privilege to welcome back Michelle Finley Burch, a 2004 French graduate, who shared about her family's journey to France as missionaries.  Their service will begin this fall near Paris.

  • Friday, September 12: The External Study Fair was held in the Barefoot Student Union Hallway from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Students learned about options for external study.  Contact Professor Malone for more information.
