 Roger Allen Cook

 2004 Graduate in Business Administration

Congratulations to Roger Cook, who recently passed the Series 7 licensing exam which licenses stockbrokers and dealers across the nation.  The series 7 exam is administered by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).

Roger received a degree in Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.  While at Union he played baseball for four years and golf one year.  A successful athletic career at Union resulted in All-American honors in baseball and All-Conference honors in golf.   Roger feels he "gained discipline and drive from his participation in athletics, and business management skills and work ethic from his academic pursuits."  His goal is to use these skills and become the best representative in the brokerage industry.

In a written statement, Roger said, “The McAfee School of Business at Union University has given me the level of education and individualized instruction I needed to succeed in the financial industry.  Knowledgeable and personable professors, helpful staff, a challenging curriculum, and great people in the University made my years at Union University a very rewarding experience.”

Roger is a broker with Morgan Keegan and Company, a regional brokerage firm providing expertise in an array of investment products from stocks, bonds, and mutual funds to insurance and estate planning.  To contact Roger -- roger.cook@morgankeegan.com
