Charles BillingsleyAugust 4, 2011

Each summer Union University hosts the Senior Adult Extravaganza, an event designed to provide the senior adults of West Tennessee and the Mid-South an evening of fun and fellowship. This year’s program is going to be quite exciting with Charles Billingsley as our musician for the evening

Charles currently serves as worship leader for the 24,000 member church, Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. The former lead vocalist of the Dove Award-nominated group NewSong, Billingsley continues to be much in demand as a solo artist, performing over a 100 concerts a year, including church dates and numerous conferences such as Phil Waldrep’s Celebrators Conferences.

A delicious summer dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. on Union’s campus, followed by a 7:00 p.m. concert in the Savage Memorial Chapel. As in years past, the event will be informal, so dress casually and come ready to enjoy the evening. The cost for tickets is $15.00 each, which includes pre-concert festivities, dinner, and the concert. Pre-concert festivities include door prizes, information on maximizing your health and finances, and a special gift for senior adult coordinators.
