"Wisdom from the Trenches" presented by the Communication Arts Department:
Featured Alumni are invited back to share with our current Union students
their exciting careers. This event is to be located in Jennings Hall TV
Studio at Union.

Science Alumni Symposium and Dinner Sponsored by the Department
of Chemistry and Physics. The Symposium will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the
Chemistry Department, Room A-7, with dinner to follow at 5:30 p.m. in the
Barefoot Student Union Building’s Coburn Dining Room. Dinner cost is

"The Use of History to Teach Mathematics" The Mathematics and
Computer Science Department will be offering a professional development
session for alumni who are teaching secondary mathematics by Dr. Matt
Lunsford. The session will begin at 5:00 p.m. in room C-24 of the Penick
Academic Complex, followed by a time of fellowship and dinner for alumni
and their families. The cost for the session and the meal is $5.00 per

"Building and Maintaining An Optimum Nursing Workforce" School of
Nursing - Come and see what your friends and Union University School of
Nursing faculty are doing now. Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship
and continued learning with a program for School of Nursing Alumni.
Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow in Union’s
Coburn Dining Room. Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Carla Sanderson, ’81,
Union University Provost and Former Dean of the School of Nursing followed
by a panel discussion and recognition of Distinguished Alumni. For more

The McAfee School of Business Reunion Dinner
at the Garden Plaza Hotel on Highway 45 By-Pass - Join us for registration
and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 and dinner at 6:00 p.m. The National Award
Winning Students in Free Enterprise team will make their award winning
presentation. Keynote speaker for the evening is Mr. John Barnes, ’70,
First Vice-President of Smith-Barney Investments Group in Little Rock,
Arkansas. His topic will be “Managing Your Investments During Uncertain
Times”. Call your friends and meet at the Garden Plaza for a fun-filled
evening. Mr. Bob Campbell, ’76, President of Panther Oil, Inc., will serve
as our Master of Ceremonies for the evening. COST: $15.00 per person.
