Homecoming Concert 2011Union University and the Student Activities Council welcome Jon Foreman and Brooke Waggoner in concert for Homecoming 2011.
Jon Foreman is the co-founder and lead vocalist/guitarist of Switchfoot. Since originally forming in 1996, Switchfoot has sold over 4.5 million albums and become known as a band committed to bringing attention to those in need. To do so, the band has partnered with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, the ONE Campaign, To Write Love on Her Arms and the John M. Perkins Foundation. Beginning in 2008, Foreman has released four solo EPs that showcase his talent in songwriting and acoustic performance. He also began collaborations with Nickel Creek's Sean Watkins and formed the duo known as Fiction Family.
We are pleased to host Foreman at Union University, and we hope you will join us. UU tickets $5 (students, faculty & staff), General $10, Door $15. Will call will open at 6:30 p.m., doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.
