Women Reaching Women Workshop Descriptions

The Basics of Women’s Ministry: Why Have a Women’s Ministry
Do we have a responsibility to reach the women in our sphere of influence? Do you have a heart to disciple other women? Scripture mandates that we are to touch the lives of others as we mentor, witness and teach. God is working mightily among women today. Are you ready to join Him? We will discuss how women’s ministry can reach and disciple women for Christ, as well as benefit the body of local believers.

The Basics of Women’s Ministry: Steps to Beginning a Women’s Ministry
Where do you start when God calls you to begin a ministry with women, or re-establish an existing one? We will discuss the steps to planning for a well-balanced ministry by using Bible Study, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, worship, evangelism, and missions.

Mentoring Women
Regardless of age, women should always be in the process of mentoring others and being mentored by others. What is mentoring and what is involved in being a mentor? What is the best way to encourage mentoring in your church? Mentoring is role modeling. It is using those “been there, done that” experiences in our lives to help other women through similar circumstances—coming alongside another woman to teach her to seek God’s Word and the One who has all the answers. Are you effectively leading a mentoring ministry in your church?

The Leader Refueled
If the leader burns out, what happens to the ministry? If the leader does not model a growing Christian woman, how will the women in our churches know what a godly woman looks like? Our number one need is to grow in our walk with Christ as a leader and find ways of being refueled continually for the work God has called us to.

Digging Deeper
In Matthew 13:11, Jesus said, “It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.” Discover tools and methods that will enable you to dig deeper into the Word of God so that you gain knowledge and understanding. In today’s compromising world, Godly women must know the truth and stand upon it.

Involving the Uninvolved
You've noticed her before — the woman who slips in as the worship service
begins or the one you last saw picking her kids up from VBS. For some reason, she remains in the shadows and our efforts to reach her seem to make little difference. Involving the women who are on the fringes is an important aspect of an effective women's ministry. Together we'll examine this challenge as we consider the power of a personal touch and discuss practical steps to getting and keeping women involved in the life of your church.

Strategies for Leading Well
What does a leader look like? How does a Leader continue to grow? How does a leader effectively communicate? How does a leader inspire others to lead? Join this session to discover some Strategies for Leading Well and receive practical advice you need. Using biblical examples and personal experiences, leaders will be better equipped to reach their full potential and will enable others to do the same.
