June 12-13 - Common Core Workshop for Teachers
  • 8:15 a.m.- 2:30 p.m., PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
    Elementary Math and English Language Arts
  • This two-day workshop will focus on key differences between Common Core Standards and State Standards. It will include implementation planning, instructional strategies and performance tasks. Examples of lesson plans, tasks and formative assessment strategies will be provided. Participants will participate in hands-on learning activities to develop a deeper understanding of the Common Core. This workshop is free for Tennessee educators. Continental breakfast, lunch, materials and door prizes are included.
