March 15: IMPORTANT UPDATE

On the www.outlook.com/my.uu.edu sign-in page, if your email address is already displayed, you may need to click

Sign in with a different user ID




and then enter your normal UU email address and password.

Otherwise, you may be told "This account can't be used to access Outlook.com"

See below for other general and date-specific information about the status of the conversion.

Student email services will change during the week of March 18. Read more if you are

• a student (including any former student who has returned and is enrolled in current classes)
• an employee
• a former (currently inactive) student with an @my.uu.edu address - all accounts will be lost - move messages now

Status of student email change (to be updated throughout the process):

• March 18, 19 - Former students were emailed about how to access their email accounts before or after March 21. The former-student page (linked above) was also updated.
• March 15 - 2 updates: 1. The conversion of email accounts to Office365 took less time than Microsoft predicted. Students should now see the temporary Office365 sign-in page. After March 21, the permanent sign-in page should be in place. 2. Students and former students were contacted about how to sign in if they know of anyone having problems; the information was also shared with employees.
• March 13 - All communications were repeated, generally in a modified 'reminder' format.
• March 11 - 2 updates: 1. Emails were sent to over 2,800 former students who left Union after Fall 2009, the term when we began keeping email accounts active after students left the University. Each message was sent to the NON-uu.edu alternate email address associated with the student's official University database records. 2. Everyone with an @my.uu.edu email account received a message about this change; this includes current and former students.
• March 7 - 2 updates: 1. Announcements of the change were distributed via student email, employee email, UU FaceBook, UU Twitter, UU portal announcements/ennouncements and hallway TVs. 2. IT website and portal links to mail.my.uu.edu have been changed to www.outlook.com/my.uu.edu.

View live events online LiveStream.com services allow the University to stream events ... to people away from campus. Chapel services from Jackson are now accessible by going to the chapel website and using the Watch Chapel Services Live link. LiveStream.com services allow the University to stream events to other parts of a campus, to other campuses or to people away from campus. The equipment provides high-quality video/audio and is much smaller and less expensive than previous solutions. Commencements, special conferences and archived events will be added.
