The Technical Services area is responsible for the cataloging, classification, authority control, processing, labeling, and binding of library materials (books, DVDs, etc.).
Voyager is the online catalog system used by Summar Library. To search the materials are cataloged using the Library of Congress cataloging and classification system. The one exception is the library's juvenile collection which uses the Dewey decimal system.
