Fogg to present piano recital Oct. 2

JACKSON, Tenn.Sept. 25, 2006 – Pianist Ryan Fogg will present a guest recital Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Union University’s Hartley Recital Hall.

Fogg is assistant professor of music and director of keyboard studies at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. A native of Texas, he holds degrees in piano performance from the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Houston and East Texas Baptist University.

He has also attended the Adamant Music School in Vermont and the Aspen Music Festival.

The program will include a variety of music from such composers at Beethoven, Bach, Brahms and Liszt.

Hartley Recital Hall is located in Jennings Hall on the west end of Union’s campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
