JACKSON, Tenn. – Sept. 6, 2007– Steve and Rebecca (Phillips) Forster will present an exhibit entitled “Parables” in the Union University Art Gallery from Sept.14-Oct. 10.
The exhibit will feature figurative oil paintings by Steve Forster and clay sculpture by Union alumnus Rebecca Phillips Forster. The couple will present a demonstrative workshop in the art department Sept. 14, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and a slide show from 3-4 p.m. A reception and brief gallery lecture will follow at 6 p.m. in the gallery.
The exhibit and workshop are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and weekends, 1-4 p.m. For more information, contact the art department at (731) 661-575.
