JACKSON, Tenn. – Jan. 2, 2008– Union University’s Community Art Program will offer a variety of classes for all age groups during the spring semester.
Classes will begin the week of Jan. 14 and run for eight or 12 weeks. All classes will meet one day each week, typically for an hour or two. Tuition costs range from $195-$330, and tuition includes all materials. Classes are available for children as young as age 4 and for adults.
All instructors are professional artists and teachers. Class size is limited.
Topics for various classes include painting, mixed media, understanding color, sketching and conceptual art making, paper mache and drawing the human figure.

In addition to the weekly classes, Saturday classes and workshops will also be offered for entire families or for individual children. Cost for the weekly “Family Art” Saturday workshops is $50, while tuition for the weekly “Make It!” Saturday workshops is $65.
