
JACKSON, Tenn. – March 21, 2008– Kayla Hudson scored a game-high 23 points and dished out 11 assists to lead Union past The Master’s College 95-78 in the second round of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship Friday at Oman Arena.
Union moves to 34-0 with the win and advances to the tournament quarterfinals. The Lady Bulldogs will play Lewis and Clark State at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Hudson was hot from 3-point range, hitting 5-of-6 shots. She also grabbed eight rebounds on the night.
Kaitlin Dudley and Josephine Owino each added 19 points for Union, while Crystal Eason scored 17.
