Union beginning Education Specialist degree in Hendersonville

JACKSON, Tenn.Dec. 16, 2008 – Union University will offer an Education Specialist degree at its Hendersonville campus beginning Jan. 31.

The 18-month, 39-hour program offers classes in a format for working teachers and administrators. Concentrations are available for licensure (administration and supervision) and non-licensure (curriculum and supervision).

Classes begin Jan. 31 and will meet at Union’s campus at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Union is also still accepting applications for spring classes in its Master of Christian Studies degree in Hendersonville.

Union University Announcement for March 6

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Friday, March 6, with all classes canceled.

The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.

Friday's Preview Day has been canceled.

Brewer Dining Hall will be open from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lex will be closed. No breakfast will be served.
