HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 2, 2011 – Union University Hendersonville is offering a one-day workshop on customer service Feb. 23 at the Hyatt Place in Hendersonville.
The workshop is part of the Extended Learning and Professional Development series that Union is offering to the business community.
“This in-depth workshop examines nine components of outstanding customer service,” said Renee Dauer, director of continuing studies at Union University Hendersonville. “The workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to maximize their ability to serve customers and see a measurable difference in the effectiveness of their business.”
Union University is offering the workshop in partnership with the Hendersonville, Gallatin and Goodlettsville Chambers of Commerce. The full-day workshop price, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $139. A discounted price of $125 is available to any member of a Sumner County Chamber of Commerce.

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Thursday, March 5, with all day classes canceled.
A decision on evening classes at Jackson and Germantown will be made by noon on Thursday. Hendersonville evening classes are canceled.
The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.
