JACKSON, Tenn. – March 30, 2011– Union University’s School of Social Work and the Midwest Tennessee branch of the National Association of Social Workers are co-sponsoring a conference April 7 to coincide with Social Work Awareness Day.
The conference will run from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and will feature presenters addressing such topics as social work and children’s services; ethics and working with children; and spirituality and social work.
The event will take place in the Carl Grant Events Center on the Union campus and will give professionals in the community an opportunity to earn five continuing education units.
