Union's Science Guys Talk Tornadoes

JACKSON, Tenn.June 6, 2003 – Union University professors and Jackson Sun columnists "The Science Guys," David Ward, Kyle Hathcox and Glenn Marsch, will discuss the causes, effects and warning signs of tornadoes June 17 at 7 p.m. in Union's Harvey Hall.

The Science Guys will also examine the history of tornadic activity in the United States and, specifically, Tennessee. The presentation will provide tornado safety information which will be followed by a question and answer session.

The event is free and open to the public. The Science Guys ask, however, that individuals planning to attend call Suzanne Nadaskay at (731) 661-5356 so that an adequate number of materials can be prepared.
