JACKSON, Tenn. – Feb. 17, 2005– Spring enrollment at Union University increased from last year, according to figures released by the university.
Enrollment for the spring 2005 semester is 2,707 students, compared to 2,690 students last year. Total credit hours for the semester are up almost 2 percent from last spring’s semester – 27,946 hours this year compared to 27,404 hours last year.
“We are delighted that enrollment for the spring semester at Union has exceeded 2,700 for the first time ever,” Union president David S. Dockery said. “We are pleased with the strong retention indicators as well. We are excited about the wonderful start to this spring semester in 2005.”
