Union to offer summer art workshops for children, youth

JACKSON, Tenn.May 6, 2005 – Union University will offer weeklong art workshops throughout the month of June for young artists 4 years old through high school.

The Summer Art Program is in its seventh year. This year students will explore a fine art perspective on visual storytelling. Classroom journal entries, poetry, literature and traditional and contemporary art will be used to inspire students as they create their own work.

Weekly classes will begin the week of June 13 and run through July 1. Each class session will run five consecutive days. Tuition varies according to age group and includes all materials.
