Youth Intern at First Baptist Church Bells TN

Description:
Our full-time Minister to Students is leaving us in 3 weeks. Our immediate need is to find a local student to serve as a "Youth Intern" while we get our Search Committee organized and update the job description, etc... We do not yet know if our Minister to Students will continue to be a full-time position. But, in any case the Youth Intern would certainly be welcome to apply for the permanent position once it is defined. Immediate responsibilities would include: 1. Teaching/Preaching to our largest gathering of Teens on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. (2-3 dozen Youth). 2. Short Devotional thought before S.S. Classes start on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. 3. Teach/Lead Children's Church Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. (1 dozen in K-5th grade) We hope to find a Christianity Major in his Junior or Senior year. If you keep résumé's on file, my first choice would be to have you send me several of those. Just "posting" a job opening notice at the college is not normally all that productive, although I am welcome to that also.
