Minister of Music at Armorel Baptist Church

Armorel Baptist Church in Armorel, AR is seeking a Music Minister.

Primary Duties: • Lead the church to worship through song on Sunday morning and night services • Prepare the choir on Sunday morning for the service • Willingness to submit to the leadership of the pastor • Willingness to prayerfully select songs that support the message • Ability to follow the leadership of the Spirit during services Secondary Duties: • Lead the VBS songs for children • Assist in the development of new leadership for praise and worship • Assign special music for most services • Take part in Wednesday night services according to giftedness (youth, children, adults, nursery) Salary is based on experience and is part-time. There are no salary benefits (health care, retirement, etc.) available at this time. The goal, of course, is for our church to grow to the point of making this a full-time position. As of now the position requires 12 hours per week (this includes Sunday services and Wednesday for office time and service).
