Announcements
- The inaugural class of DNP students were on campus August
17-20, 2009. A class of 18 students began the DNP program.
- The Greater Faculty and Board of Trustees have approved the
implementation of the DNP Program. The program is
scheduled to begin in fall 2009. Information about the DNP

- Dr. Mark Kossick
named Professor and Senior Fellow in
Nursing. Dr. Kossick is the first faculty in the
School of Nursing to receive the title of Senior Fellow.
His focus will be scholarly writing in the area of
electrocardiography while continuing to teach nurse anesthesia
in the classroom. More information may be obtained about

- Center of Excellence in Health Care
Practice renamed Baptist Memorial Health Care Center of
Excellence in Health Care Practice (at Union University -
Jackson Campus) - September 2007
- Pat Keene, MSN, RN, CS was recently
selected as one of the top 100 Nurses in Shelby County.
Pat is a current DNP student at UT-Memphis and serves as
Associate Professor of Nursing on Union's Germantown Campus.
