        In order to be an excellent teacher I believe it is vital to understand the diversity and complexity of today's student.  The pressures facing the average classroom attendant are greater than ever before. Yet from my experience it appears that many of these students are not equipped with the life skills necessary to handle what they must overcome to succeed. It is my goal as a teacher to equip my students with far more than memorized facts by the end of my courses.  I hope to instill each and every one with effective study skills, a love of learning, a sense of respect towards authority and their fellow classmates, and an intrinsic motivation to pursue excellence!
