LE PROBLÈME – The Mona Lisa has resided in France for over 500 years.  The Italian Parliament has just passed a resolution demanding the return of this “most famous painting in the world” to its homeland.  What is the solution?  Are we are on the verge of the collapse of the European Union over a painting?

 

OBJECTIVES:

The student will research background information on the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Louvre Museum from selected websites.  The student will create a table that contains interesting facts.

The student will answer questions using Microsoft Excel while referring to the selected websites.

The student will design a PowerPoint presentation that will include his/her solution to the problem.  The student will present his/her ideas to the class.

 

Duration:  4 class periods in the computer lab Materials Needed:  Computers, Internet access, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
