Duration: One Week    
Scaffolding: This is a teacher led learning web because of students' emergent reading skills. Students will practice clicking and dragging items and using the keyboard by complete the scaffolding activities below.  
Objectives: Students will complete animal themed activities in multiple subject areas to reinforce letter recognition, letter writing, sight word recognition, syllable counting, sorting, and matching animal babies with their mothers.  
Required Supplies: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet access, and Animal Babies in Grasslands by Jennifer Schofield.  

   

The baby animals from the book need your help!
They are lost in the grasslands and can't find their mommies.
Complete the activities along the path, and you will lead them to their mommies.
