Scaffolding
The teacher will lead lessons in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel to begin this unit on frogs. The lessons will include basic computer skills. To begin the unit of study the teacher will lead discussions about frogs, their environment, and life cycle. Students should have prior knowledge of Venn Diagrams, and ABC order before using this learning web.

Problem
We have a new class pet, and his name is Tad. Tad does not know what he is, and we need to help him discover what kind of animal he is. You will learn the life cycle of a frog so you will be able to help Tad.

| You will read the story "Who Am I?" Click on the frog to find the story. Scroll down to Frog Stories for Kids then click. Choose the first story "Who Am I?" and read it. (Knowledge) |

Assessments
The student will print out completed activities and turn into the teacher. The teacher will check for completion and the students will be rewarded with a Froggy Fun Day.
