OBJECTIVES:  THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY BASIC TERMS RELATED TO WEATHER AND FACTORS THAT DETERMINE THE WEATHER.  THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE INTERNET, POWERPOINT AND MICROSOFT WORD ACTIVITIES.

DURATION: ONE WEEK

MATERIALS NEEDED: COMPUTERS, PRINTERS, PAPER AND PENCIL
 

Problem:  

Tony's family is planning a party.  His mom can't decided what day to have the party, because she has no idea what the weather will be like.  Help Tony's mom find out what the weather will be like that week.

HAVE THE STUDENTS, CHART THE WEATHER DAILY TO INCLUDE, THE HIGH AND LOW TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH WHETHER OR NOT  THERE WAS ANY PRECIPITATION AND IF SO, HOW MUCH PRECIPITATION. (KNOWLEDGE, COMPREHENSION, APPLICATION, EVALUATION)

HAVE THE STUDENTS DECIDE WHAT IS THEIR FAVORITE WEATHER AND CREATE A STORY ABOUT THEIR FAVORITE WEATHER AND WHAT THEY WOULD DO ON THAT DAY. (KNOWLEDGE, APPLICATION, SYNTHESIS)
