The Undergraduate Research Program (URP) ensures that undergraduates at Union University are engaged actively and cooperatively with faculty mentors in the pursuit of creative, artistic, and scholarly endeavors. It is the goal of the program that every student in every discipline has the opportunity:
  • to collaborate with a faculty mentor on

  • an innovative scholarly project and

  • to disseminate the outcomes of this endeavor.

Senior Brent Jones, biology and chemistry major, prepared his research on monomer reactions for the Union University Scholarship Symposium.
