The Baconian Society of Union University will encourage, facilitate, and promote the science-faith dialogue within the Union University community, among sister institutions of higher learning, and throughout the broader community of West Tennessee.

The Baconian Society was established August 2002 with the aid of a Local Societies Initiative Grant from the Metanexus Institute.
