Mr. & Miss Bulldog

This award is presented to the top male and female student-athlete earning the highest GPA, while exhibiting exceptional involvement in community outreach, and demonstrated leadership on and off the court/field.

Top Dawgs

This award is presented to the top male and female varsity teams earning the highest GPA, while exhibiting exceptional involvement in community outreach, and leadership collectively on and off the court/field.

Union's All-Academic Team

The Fall, Winter, and Spring Academic Honor Teams are selected by the athletic department and support staff. Nominees must have the following qualifications to be nominated:

• The student-athlete must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better
• The student-athlete must be a starter or significant contributor to the team
• The student-athlete must contribute to leadership roles and community outreach
• The student-athlete must have 24 credit hours and a full year of residency

TranSouth Scholar Athlete

Student-athlete must have 24+ credit hours and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

• Feb. 22, 2011 - Union basketball places nine players on scholar athlete list
• Nov. 19, 2010 - Union men’s soccer places four on all-conference team, 19 scholar athletes
• Nov. 16, 2010 - Union women’s soccer puts five on all-conference team, 13 scholar athletes
• Nov. 8, 2010 - Union volleyball team, coach honored by TranSouth
• Oct. 23, 2010 - Union cross country sweeps TranSouth titles, honors

NAIA Scholar Athlete

Student-athlete must have 36+ credit hours and a minimum 3.5 GPA.

• Dec. 6, 2010 - Union’s Peterson named NAIA scholar athlete
• Dec. 6, 2010 - Union’s Duling named NAIA volleyball scholar athlete
• Nov. 19, 2010 - Union cross country has four NAIA Scholar Athletes
• Oct. 19, 2010 - Union earns NAIA Five Star Award, named in championship of character top-25
