Recruitment 2011

Each fall, Panhellenic Council hosts Formal Recruitment, the period when new students are first eligible to join one of the sororities. Fall 2011 Recruitment begins on Sunday, August 28th with the Panhellenic Open Party and concludes on Bid Day on Saturday, September 3rd.

Register for Recruitment 2011 Registration applications will be accepted through the conclusion of the Panhellenic Open Party on Sunday, August 28, 2011. The Recruitment Registration fee is $14.

Monday, August 29th - 6:00 pm Display Parties
Thursday, September 1st - 6:00 pm Skit Parties
Friday, September 2nd - 6:00 pm Preference Parties
Saturday, September 3rd - 10:30 am Bid Day!

Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council serves as a governing body for the local chapters of three national sororities on Union's campus. Union's Council is composed of three delegates from each chapter of the social sororities on campus: Zeta Tau Alpha, Kappa Delta, and Chi Omega. The purpose of the local Panhellenic is to unite sorority women by focusing on common goals and values and creating a network of support for each organization represented.

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of find standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for further fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
