Deere received a Bachelor of Music in music education, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction, and a Doctorate of Education in educational leadership, all from Union University in Jackson.

Union Education Alumna Named to Jackson’s “Forty Under Forty”

Dr. Kelli DeereOctober 27, 2015 - One of Union University’s Education alumna, Dr. Kelli Deere, has been identified as one of the “Forty Under Forty” for the Jackson Sun’s Class of 2015 notable “up-and-comers” for the West Tennessee area. Deere received a Bachelor of Music in music education, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction, and a Doctorate of Education in educational leadership, all from Union University in Jackson.

Deere is a former music teacher and mentor with Lexington City Schools. She was also previously employed with the West Carroll Special School District. Currently, Deere serves as the director of the University of Tennessee at Martin Parsons Center.

The School of Education is honored by the successful careers and ambitions of Union University’s Education alumni. Dr. Kelli Deere is one such former student who is representing her alma mater well.
