October 3, 2016 - The Sociology Inquiry Society (SIS) hosted Brittany Thompson, who graduated from the Department of Sociology and Family Studies in 2014. Brittany shared about her experiences at Union, her graduate program at Murray State, and her current role as a College Coach at the high school in her hometown. One of Brittany's key points was that studying sociology helped her to understand people in a deeper way, so that she wasn't surprised when encountering various situations and issues.
