Call for Presentations Dear colleagues, You are invited to submit a proposal for a presentation on an IT topic (either on Information Technology or Instructional Technology in Higher Education). Given our conference theme, we are interested in particular in best practice presentations on innovative use of technology in the classroom. If you would like to make a presentation, send us your name, title or
position, and school along with the general topic and title of your
presentation and a short abstract or outline. The deadline for proposals is
Feb. 15, 2003. We will notify people selected to make presentations
at the conferences by March 15, 2003. Please send your proposal to If you know of someone else at your school who might be interested in attending or presenting, please forward this invitation to them. If your university, like ours, has an Innovative Teaching award, then past recipients may be excellent candidates for sharing their success at our conference. Many schools now also have a Center for Instructional Technology or Center for Faculty Development – please pass on the information to the respective Directors too (or forward me their email address and I’ll send them a personal invitation). More information about registering for the conference can be found on this website. Remember that these CCCU conferences have a low registration fee and all that is needed for a presentation is an abstract or an outline. If you have any unanswered questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Hope to see you there! G. Jan Wilms |
