Program - Evangelicals for Social
Action Coalition for Christian Colleges and Universities Jones Lectureship The Pew Scholars Colloquium Union University and its Center for Christian Leadership, in affiliation with Evangelicals for Social Action, The Pew Scholars Colloquium, and the Jones Lectureships, will host a conference to explore issues of Christian faith and public policy. The two-day conference, to be held October 19-20, 1998 on the campus of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, will include a distinguished array of speakers from a variety of religious bodies, institutions and walks of life. These national figures will provide insight into various aspects of the conference theme-- "Christian Faith and Public Policy: Where Do We Go From Here?" |

Lodging Arrangements | ||
The conference, in Jackson, Tennessee, is located approximately one hour from Memphis and two hours from Nashville. A block of rooms has been reserved at Sheraton Old English Inn, 2267 N. Highland Avenue, at a special conference rate of $69 per night. Please call the Inn at 901-668-1571 to make your particular arrangements by September 1. Mention your participation in the Union University Conference on "Christian Faith and Public Policy" to receive your special conference rate. |
