BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY TO HOMECOMING 2002!!

Homecoming 2002 will feature new and exciting events for the entire family. SO, load up the kids and arrive at the campus on Saturday morning for a fun-filled day. You may drop your kids off at “BULLDOG DAYCAMP” as early as 9:15 a.m. and come to the morning Alumni and Friends Brunch in the Small Gym to meet your friends, alums, faculty and staff of the University. See what’s going on in your major, check out the new engineering program, or simply enjoy the food and fellowship.

OR bring all the kids to Fred Delay gymnasium from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.!! Check out the Dande Jumpers, games, and fast food available for your purchase! Get your kid’s picture “dunking the ball” assisted by a Lady Bulldog or Bulldog collegiate, while “Buster”Bulldog encourages from the sidelines! Sure to be a hit!! The afternoon will be just the right mix with Homecoming Basketball games featuring the national championship bound Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs of Union University taking on Trevecca Nazarene. Don’t miss the presentation of the coveted and highly competitive Presidential Homecoming Cup and the crowning of this year’s Homecoming Queen and court.

9:15 a.m.
Opening of Bulldog Daycamp at the Blassingame Academic Complex. For your little bulldogs 3-10 years of age. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, February 5. Age appropriate activities will be provided along with a healthy snack and a sack lunch. Sponsored by the University’s School of Education and Student Teachers Education Association. Must be housebroken to attend! IT’S FREE!

9:30 a.m.
Reunion Brunch and Registration in the small gym. Meet your friends, former alumni and classmates just to visit, sit and chat, mingle with faculty and staff and see what’s going on in your major. Displays provided by various schools and departments will let you know what’s going on in your discipline. Check out the new engineering program.

10:00 a.m.
Family Friendly Activities begin in the Fred Delay Gymnasium. Games and Dande Jumpers for your kids. Photo opps with your favorite Lady Bulldog or Bulldog and, of course, Buster Bulldog. Fast food available for your purchase at the concessions.

11:30 a.m.
Alumni Awards Luncheon in Coburn Dining Room, Barefoot Student Union Building. A tradition of excellence continues as the National Alumni Association of Union University recognizes those alumni and friends of the University who have made outstanding contributions of service to their communities, their profession, or to the University. $12.00 per person. Reservations should be made in advance by February 5. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the registration table at the Alumni Reunion Brunch.

2:00 p.m.
Lady Bulldogs VS. Trevecca Nazarene followed by the Bulldogs VS. Trevecca Nazarene. The Homecoming game will be a sell out. So don’t miss out on one second of the action. Special features include the Union University Stage Band, presentation of the Homecoming Queen and her court, and awarding of the Presidential Homecoming Cup.

Greek Open Houses: Drop by to visit collegiate friends and alumni from days gone by.
