7:30 p.m.- Flute Recital
Ms. Sara Beth Hanson, principal Flutist of the
Baton Rouge (LA) Symphony will be in recital with the clarinet assistance of
Dr. David McClune. She has performed all over the world and holds degrees
from Florida State University. To be held in Kenneth R. Hartley Recital Hall

Wednesday, February 12
10 a.m. - Bebo Norman Chapel
Come praise and worship with top Christian artist Bebo Norman, a performer
and song writer who has stormed the Christian music scene with the release
of two albums: Big Blue Sky and Ten Thousand Days. 9 p.m. - Bebo Norman
Coffeehouse
Bring your favorite mug to candlelit Coburn Dining Hall for an up close
and personal Homecoming coffeehouse concert with Bebo Norman. The concert
is free and sponsored by the Student Activities Council and the National

4:30 - 6 p.m.- Tailgate Party
Hosted by Freshman Council in the small gym. Join us for food and fun before
the big games! FREE Union megaphones will be given to the first 200 people.
6 p.m. and 8 p.m. - Union vs. Lambuth
Join our Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs as they challenge Lambuth University.
The Student Activities Council will sponsor a chance for three Union
students to attempt halfcourt shots for a $10,000 prize! Bring your Dawg
Tag to be eligible to play.
7:30 p.m. - French Horn Recital
Dr. Francis Massinon, professor of horn at Austin Peay State University,will
perform a recital. He is principal horn of the Jackson Symphony and holds
degrees from Indiana University. To be held in Kenneth R. Hartley Recital

10 p.m. - Bonfire
Homecoming Bonfire, sponsored by SGA will be across from Walker Road. After
the games warm up on a chilly night. Join us for hot chocolate, s’mores, and
fun times with friends!

1 - 4 pm. - Wisdom From the Trenches
Presented by the Communication Arts Department: Featured alumni are invited
back to share with our current Union students their exciting careers. This
event will be held in Jennings Hall TV Studio at Union.
Noon - Campus Displays
Spirited life-size displays will be available for your viewing pleasure and
entertainment after the 12 noon judging. Visit fraternity row, the fountain,
and dorm complexes for incredible artwork and Union spirit!
8 p.m. All-Sing
Come and enjoy one of Union’s oldest campus traditions! Hear Greek and other
campus organizations sing in large and small group competition. This event
is sponsored by Sigma Alpha Iota, the professional women’s music fraternity.

9 a.m. - Homecoming 5K Run
View the expanded campus and enjoy our first ever Homecoming 5K Run. Run
begins near the sand volleyball court. Free admission with t-shirts to the

2 p.m. - Lady Bulldogs vs. Blue Mountain
The 2003 Homecoming Queen will be crowned and the court announced at
halftime of the women’s game. 4 p.m. Bulldogs vs. Hannibal LaGrange The
winner of the coveted traveling “Presidential Homecoming Trophy” will be
announced at halftime of the men’s game.
