New sign-in page for mail.uu.edu
Enhanced security, modern look
|
Beginning on the morning of Wednesday August 8, mail.uu.edu will have a new sign-in page for all students and employees.
We're letting you know now so you won't be suspicious of a hacking attempt. You can see the new look and the old look below.
Here's what you need to know.
-
During the conversion between 6:00 am and 8:00 am Central, you may not have access to your email. However, all messages you've received before the conversion will still be there. Also, all messages sent to you during the conversion will be delivered and available immediately after service returns.
-
The new sign-in will be more secure by using advanced, two-factor authentication protection.
-
For password-reset verification purposes, additional information such as an alternate email address will be required the first time you sign into email after the conversion. You will have to re-verify this information every six months.
-
A few days after the new sign-in is active, we'll be requiring everyone to create new University passwords. Be watching for more information.
-
You'll see this new sign-in page for other University services in the future. We'll alert you before each service is converted.
