UNION UNIVERSITY HONORED BY ADMISSIONS MARKETING REPORT, BAPTIST PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATION

JACKSON, March 20-- Union University's admissions marketing materials and quarterly alumni magazine recently received recognition in two national awards competitions.

Admissions Marketing Report, the national newspaper for college admissions marketing, presented a gold award to Union's direct mail viewbook series, ranking the series first among universities enrolling 2,000-5,000 students. In addition, Union's poster series received both gold and silver honors and the viewbook series received a gold award in the search piece category.

The Unionite, Union's quarterly alumni magazine, took top honors in the limited or special audience magazine category of the Baptist Public Relations Association. The BPRA awards judge the entries of all communications personnel within the Southern Baptist Convention. More than 400 entries representing agencies from across the convention were submitted for BPRA awards competition.
