JACKSON, March 20-- Union University's student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society has been recognized by the national society as a 1994-95 Commendable Chapter.
The chapter will be honored at the society's third annual student affiliates awards program in New Orleans Sunday, March 24. The awards program is sponsored jointly by the Society Committee on Education and ACS Corporation Associates, a group of companies serving as the official link between the society and industry.
The American Chemical Society is a national organization designed to promote chemistry through activities in both industrial and educational circles.
