JACKSON, March 28-- Union University's office of religious affairs will host a dinner theater to benefit Habitat for Humanity Tuesday, April 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the University's Coburn Dining Room.
Professional actor Bruce Kuhn will present "The Accounts of Luke," a compelling one man show about the life of Jesus Christ. Dressed in modern clothing, Kuhn plays more than a dozen roles while telling the story as an eyewitness may have 2,000 years ago.
Kuhn has performed in the Broadway production of "Les Miserables," in the Broadway tour of the musical "Chess," and "The Cotton Patch Gospel."
Tickets for the dinner theater are $12, with proceeds benefitting construction of Union's fifth Habitat for Humanity house this fall. The reservation deadline is noon, Wednesday, April 3. For reservations or more information, call Joanna Moore in Union's office of religious affairs at (901) 661-5162.
