JACKSON, April 15-- Union University's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team and Volunteer Bank will host the ninth annual Economic Outlook Conference Thursday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m., in the University's Coburn Dining Room.
Keynote speakers for the conference are Dan Heisserer, general manager of the Central Hockey League's San Antonio Iguanas, and Jane Jones, president of strategic directions for Randstad Staffing Services USA.
Heisserer, a 1984 Union graduate, will discuss the role of business in professional sports, and Jones will speak on business growth.
Union's ninth annual Employee of the Year Award will also be presented during the conference.
Tickets to the Economic Outlook Conference are available for $10 for students or $15 general admission, which includes a buffet dinner. Reservations are required by Friday, April 19. For reservations or more information, call the McAfee School of Business Administration at (901) 661-5360.
