JACKSON, April 19-- "Say No Max," the Union University Players' annual children's play, will teach area schoolchildren to resist the dangers of drugs and alcohol April 30-May 3.
The play tells the story of Max, a ten-year-old boy who moves to a new town, and his efforts to make friends. As the other children tempt him to try cigarettes and alcohol, Max travels to the Land of Delusion, a dream world where he must learn to say no."
'Say No Max' is a very self-affirming play; a play that shows kids they have the power to resist temptation," David Burke, director of the players, said.
